From June 17 to 19, 2026, the Vietnam International Manufacturing Fair (VIMF 2026) took place at the WTC EXPO in Binh Duong, concluding with resounding success. As Vietnam’s largest and most influential industrial exhibition, this year’s event brought together over 500 global automation companies and attracted more than 25,000 professional visitors over three days. Throughout the show, the Taikan booth remained a hub of activity, positioning the brand among the most visited and talked-about exhibitors.

At VIMF 2026, Taikan showcased three flagship CNC machines — the T-500S high-speed tapping center, the T-V850M vertical machining center, and the ST-206 Swiss-type lathe — with live demonstrations of single-setup machining solutions for consumer electronics, new energy vehicles, and mold-making sectors. All three machines received strong interest and high praise from local customers, and the market's confidence was proven early: the T-V850M was sold right on the first day of the exhibition, reflecting its immediate appeal and the robust demand for reliable machining equipment in Vietnam. Several other visitors also expressed clear project cooperation intentions on the spot, turning the booth into a productive networking and deal-making environment.

Vietnam’s manufacturing industry is entering a decisive phase of transformation and upgrading. As a key hub for electronics production in Southeast Asia, the country continues to see rising demand for automation across 3C electronics, automotive components, and precision molds, driving investment in advanced equipment such as the cnc tapping center and other high-precision CNC solutions. There is a strong and growing appetite for high-precision, high-reliability CNC machining equipment, including solutions such as the cnc swiss type automatic lathe used in electronics, medical, and precision component manufacturing. To respond faster to this market momentum, Taikan officially launched its Vietnam manufacturing base in Hanoi in November 2025, further strengthening its position among leading vertical machining center manufacturers serving Southeast Asia. The base spans a total planned construction area of approximately 18,000 square meters and is being developed in three phases. The first phase, covering 1,928.45 square meters, is already fully operational, meeting current production ramp-up requirements while securing ample capacity for future expansion. Guided by the philosophy of “know the product, know the customer better,” the team continues to deliver breakthroughs in channel development, project delivery, and after-sales service localization.

From a standout exhibition presence to a concrete local manufacturing footprint, from business growth to deepening operational roots, Taikan is leveraging its core automation expertise across control, drive, and execution — combined with global resource integration capabilities — to empower Vietnam’s manufacturing sector to achieve high-quality, intelligent development. Looking ahead, Taikan remains committed to its “close to market, serve customers” localization strategy, working hand in hand with global partners to create new value in smart manufacturing and write the next chapter in industrial upgrading.
